Wyoming rules for a solar floor

Telemarketer registration

Wyoming requires some telephone sellers or telemarketers to register or be licensed before calling there. File notice with the Attorney General and name a process agent. Check the exemptions before your floor dials Wyoming.

Wyo. Stat. 40-12-305

Calling window

Wyoming sets its own window: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It covers unsolicited telephonic sales calls to consumers. Set the dialer to the narrower of the state and federal windows.

Wyo. Stat. 40-12-302(d)

Do not call list

Wyoming keeps its own do not call list. Attorney General calls the Telephone Preference Service Wyoming's do not call list. Scrub against it as well as the National Do Not Call Registry.

Wyo. Stat. 40-12-301(a)(viii), 40-12-302(b); Wyoming Attorney General, Telephone Solicitation

Automated and recorded calls

Wyoming has its own law on automated or recorded sales calls. Restricts automated dialing and recorded message sales calls. It can be stricter than the federal rules.

Wyo. Stat. 40-12-303

Recording calls

Wyoming allows recording with one party's consent. A party, or one party's prior consent, may intercept.

Wyo. Stat. 7-3-702(b)(iv)

Wyoming limits unsolicited sales calls to consumers to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., bars calls to numbers on the do not call list its statute names, restricts automated and recorded sales calls, and requires solicitors to file a notice with the Attorney General.
